science fiction
A science fiction author from Ballajura, Western Australia! Not a bad book, either. The heroine was dead, with a scientific explanation for being a zombie – a nice idea. She was accompanied by a cute – and humanly intelligent – beagle, so what could go wrong? Except that the beagle was killed to make the end work... I would (I hope) have found a better alternative. There was a touch of deus ex machina throughout the book: an environment where so much could be done with nano machines that you wonder how the heroine survived. Made more believable (acceptable?) because she always knew the difference between real and virtual reality.
